4 Seasons of the Year

Canada has 4 seasons; winter, spring, summer and autumn (fall).

Winter begins in December and can last till mid April. It can be rather long, gloomy and unpredictable as the weather change drastically day by day.

Spring arrives in around mid April. This is the season where flowers bloom and birds are plentiful. It’s sunny, rainy and colourful.

Summer starts in July and it’s hot & dry in the afternoon with clear sky. In the evening, it gets cooler and many families fire up their BBQ. Unlike Singapore, it’s not humid in London so you don’t sweat easily under the sun.

When Autumn/Fall comes in September, the weather turns cooler and a sweater or jacket is normally recommended especially in the evening.

School Term

Our first semester begins in September, temperature may range from 10-15 degrees in the day and drop to 8 degrees or less at night. A sweater or jacket is recommended especially for those who cannot take cold weather.

If you’re starting your term in January, please come prepared with winter jacket, boots, gloves, hat, socks, thermal inner wears, jean, track shoes, lip gross, body moisturizer and long pants and long sleeve shirts. Winter is usually cold, windy and dry. Temperature could drop to -10 to -20 degrees at night.
